** Cell phones **
My husband and I were slow to finally break down and get cell phones, but now we love them. They make a lot of things just a little more convenient and can help give parents comfort knowing that their kids can get in touch with them if they need to. Neither of us are big phone talkers or texters, so we both just have tracfones right now and for 2 phones we spend about $13 a month for them. I definitely think that cell phones use can get way out of control and I don't think that kids usually need them, but they are definitely nice to have sometimes.
