** Habitual hair twirling can be hazardous to the health of your hair! **
My 3 year old sucks the thumb on her left hand and twirls the hair on the right side of her head with her right hand. I have started to notice recently that the hair on that side of her head is much thinner and shorter than the hair on the other side of her head. I can only think that the twirling that she does has contributed to that. Now if I can only come up with some way to make her stop.
